Dominican schools to receive donation from Hands Across the Sea

Dominica will benefit from ninety thousand and fifty books and library support material destined for Eastern Caribbean schools from Hands Across the Sea.

The donation will be given to ninety-eight primary and nineteen high schools in Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, a press release said.

The titles for each school were requested by educators via the 2018-2019 Hands Wish List.

Hands Across the Sea has been donating books to Dominica for a number of years in collaboration with the Lions Club.

They have been very instrumental in the replenishing of the libraries of many schools across the island since the passage of hurricane Maria last September.
